Technical SEO, for Google and for AI search
Technical SEO is the structural, onsite work that helps the right people find your website, through Google and, increasingly, through AI assistants. Foundations rather than a campaign: a site built to be found and structured to be understood. We do the onsite side of that work, and we’re clear about where it ends. We’re a small studio in north Norfolk, a short drive from Norwich, doing technical SEO for businesses there and across the UK. Audits from £200, with every figure agreed before work begins.
WHERE THINGS STAND
Search in 2026 isn’t only Google.
A growing share of searches never reach a results page: people ask an AI assistant and read one answer, drawn from sites the assistant could parse and trusted enough to cite. Google still matters, and the same structural work serves both. That’s why this service covers AEO, answer engine optimisation, alongside classic technical SEO, rather than treating AI search as an afterthought.
WHAT WE DO
Technical, onsite, and built for both kinds of search.
Our work falls into three connected areas.
The technical foundations
Site structure and architecture, page speed and Core Web Vitals, crawlability, indexing, clean URLs, structured data, and the schema that tells search engines and AI systems exactly what your business is and does.
Onsite SEO
Heading structure, content priority, internal linking, page titles and meta descriptions, and making sure each page targets a search someone makes.
AEO, for AI search
Structuring content so AI tools can extract it cleanly, giving them specific facts worth citing, and keeping your business’s details consistent everywhere online.
Where the edges are
What this service does and doesn’t cover.
It’s worth being clear about the edges of this service, because “SEO” is sold to mean a lot of different things, and a fair amount of it we don’t do.
We do the onsite and technical work
Everything on your own site: the structure, the code, the content foundations, the schema, the AEO work. This is the part with the most reliable return.
We don’t do offsite link building
It’s a real discipline with its own specialists, and it isn’t where our expertise sits. If your situation calls for it, we’ll point you to someone who does it well.
We don’t promise a number-one ranking
Nobody can promise a ranking, and anyone who does is telling you something about themselves. What we promise is the onsite and technical work, done and reported plainly, including when a change moves nothing.
WHY US
Search rewards real expertise. That works in your favour.
Google’s guidance now asks whether content shows experience, expertise, authority, and trust, and AI assistants lean the same way. A site whose technical claims are made by the person who builds sites for a living, and whose content says specific, checkable things, is exactly what both are trying to surface. We build sites, so the SEO advice comes from the same bench as the code.
WAYS TO WORK
A one-off audit, or ongoing work.
Technical SEO work usually takes one of two shapes, and they often run in sequence. The strategy call works out where to start.
A one-off audit
A thorough review of your site’s technical and onsite SEO, with clear, prioritised recommendations: what’s holding the site back, what to fix first, and what difference each change should make.
An ongoing retainer
Search changes, AI systems change, and a site needs maintaining to keep pace. An ongoing retainer covers continuing technical SEO, keeping the AEO work current, and small content adjustments month to month.
