Domain registration and management, off your to-do list
A domain name is a small thing until it goes wrong, and then it can take the website and the email down with it. We register, renew, and manage domains on your behalf, or look after the ones you already own, with the DNS handled and renewals tracked so nothing lapses. We’re a small studio in north Norfolk, a short drive from Norwich, managing domains for businesses there and across the UK. The full cost, registry fee and management line, is in writing before anything is registered.

Your domain name is the address people type to reach you, the part after the @ in your email, and the thing search engines and customers come to recognise you by. It's also, quietly, one of the most important pieces of infrastructure your business owns.
When a domain is looked after, you never think about it. When it isn't, the failures are the expensive kind:
A missed renewal, and the website and email simply stop working, sometimes overnight.
A lapsed domain snapped up by someone else, occasionally someone who then wants paying to give it back.
DNS records pointing at the wrong place, so the site is down or the email quietly disappears.
Login details lost with a former developer or a long-closed account, so nobody can make changes when they’re needed.

If you're starting out, or want a new domain for a project or a rebrand, we'll check what's available, advise on the sensible options, and register it for you. It's registered in your name and your business's ownership, never locked away as ours.
Manage a domain you already have
Already own a domain? We can take over the day-to-day management without moving the registration anywhere, or help transfer it somewhere better if it's stuck with a registrar that makes life difficult. Either way, you keep ownership.
Handle the DNS
DNS is the set of records that tells the internet where your website lives and where your email should go. It's easy to get wrong and disruptive when it is. We set it up correctly, point it at the right places, and adjust it carefully whenever something changes.
Keep renewals under control
We track renewal dates and keep domains paid up and active, so a domain never lapses through a missed email or an out-of-date payment card. The single most common domain disaster, simply prevented.
Be the people who hold the keys
When BrainWeb manages your domain, there's always someone who has the access, knows how it's set up, and can make a change when you need one. No hunting for a password from a developer you used in 2017.

The domain is always yours.
We register and manage domains on your behalf as a convenience, never as a way to tighten a grip on you. The domain is registered in your ownership, and if you ever want direct control or to move it elsewhere, we’ll help you do exactly that. A domain held hostage is one of the oldest tricks in this industry, and the registration in your name is what makes it impossible here.
What it costs is itemised
A domain has an annual registration fee, paid to the registry, and anything we add for managing it is a separate line you can see. You’ll never find a recurring charge you don’t understand.
Pricing
Explained in full, before you commit
Every domain carries an annual registration fee, set by the registry that runs that particular domain ending (.co.uk, .com, and so on). Those fees vary by ending and do change over time, so the right figure for your domain is one we'll give you directly rather than print on a page that would quickly go stale.
Before anything is registered or renewed you get the full cost in writing: the registry’s fee, and BrainWeb’s management charge as its own line.
