Help your site perform once it's live

A launched site is a starting point. Whether the enquiries come depends on what happens next: content people search for, a structure search engines and AI assistants can read, and numbers you can act on. We do that work for sites we built and sites we didn't, with AI tools where they earn their keep and a person editing everything that goes out. We're a small studio in north Norfolk, a short drive from Norwich, working on SEO, content, and analytics for businesses there and across the UK.

Found by customers

Technical SEO and structure that put you in front of people searching, in Google and in AI assistants.

True to your brand

Content written and edited to match how your business talks, not churned out to fill a page.

Enquiries you can trace

Cookieless analytics that show which page brought the phone call, with no consent banner in the way.

What we do

Four core services to help your site perform

The four Grow services most clients ask for. Each one comes as a one-off piece of work or an ongoing arrangement; the strategy call settles which.

How it works

Three shapes the work comes in

Grow work is sized to the site, not to a template. Every engagement takes one of three shapes, and the strategy call settles which.

  • A one-off piece

an audit, a setup, a landing page. Fixed price, defined scope, a delivery date

  • A monthly arrangement

a content rhythm, an SEO retainer, reporting, or chatbot upkeep. One monthly fee, rolling month to month

  • Setup, then upkeep

a one-off setup followed by monthly management. The usual shape for email marketing, chatbots, and technical SEO

Already a BrainWeb client? Your free annual website MOT is where most Grow work starts: three concrete recommendations, each with a price, none of them obligatory.

HOW GROW WORK RUNS

A strategy call,
then work that responds to evidence.

Grow work starts with a conversation about what you've got and what you want more of, then runs on rhythms rather than fixed-length project plans. Each service has its own version of this; the shape below is the general pattern.

Grow works for sites we built and sites we didn't. If you're an existing client, the annual MOT is usually where it starts. If you've arrived here from elsewhere, the rest of what BrainWeb does is there if it becomes relevant.

BEFORE WE START

The Strategy Call

A conversation about your site: what's working, what isn't, and what you'd like it to do more of. We'll have looked at the site beforehand, so the advice starts from what's there. If a Grow service fits, we'll say which; if none does, we'll say that too.

SEEING WHAT'S THERE

Audit and discovery

Before recommending anything, we look at what you’ve got. For SEO, a technical audit, current rankings, and who else ranks for your terms. For content, an audit of what’s there and a read of your voice. For analytics, what’s tracked and what’s missing. For chatbots, the questions people are already asking. The depth fits the service; nothing gets recommended without grounds.

02

AGREEING WHAT GETS DONE

Plan and scope

From the audit, a plan: what we’d do, why, in what order, and what it costs. A fixed quote for a one-off piece, or a monthly scope for ongoing work. You approve it before anything starts.

A few days · Agree the plan

03

THE ACTUAL WORK

Implementation

The work happens on the agreed rhythm, and you see it as it goes rather than as a finished surprise. A content rhythm running monthly, an SEO retainer with monthly priorities, a chatbot getting sharper with each round of feedback.

WHAT MAKES GROW WORK

Aftercare

Grow work that doesn't get measured doesn't get better. We track what matters for each service: rankings and traffic for SEO, opens and clicks for email, conversation quality for chatbots, engagement and conversions for content. Plain-English reports, a conversation about what's working, and the next round adjusted accordingly.

For ongoing arrangements that loop is the rhythm of the relationship: each round feeds the next, and the work compounds rather than drifts. For one-off pieces, it's how we check the thing we delivered did what it was meant to.

FAQ

Things people ask us about Grow services

Seven questions that come up on most Grow enquiries: whether a site needs SEO work, what AI-assisted content means in practice, and what a chatbot can and can’t do. The full list is on the Grow FAQ page.

Ask a question

If your question isn’t here, ask. You’ll get an answer from the person who’d be doing the work, and if the answer is "you don’t need this yet", that’s the answer you’ll get.

Does my website actually need an AI chatbot?

Not necessarily, and we'd rather tell you honestly than sell you one that won't be used. A chatbot tends to earn its place when you get a steady stream of the same questions, when customers often come looking outside working hours, or when a quick answer genuinely affects whether someone enquires. If your site is small and a clear contact page does the job, a chatbot may just add clutter. The strategy call gives you an honest answer either way.

Do you write content using AI?

Sometimes, and we're open about how. The thinking, the angle, and the judgement about what's worth saying are human. AI is used where it genuinely helps, with research and first drafts, and everything is edited properly by a person before it goes anywhere. Some pieces are best written with little or no AI at all, and we'll tell you when that's the case. What matters is that the finished writing is good and sounds like you. The Content Creation page explains the approach in full.

What’s this "AEO" thing?

AEO stands for Answer Engine Optimisation. It's the work of making a site visible to AI systems, the AI answers in Google, and tools like ChatGPT and Claude, not just to traditional search. As more questions get answered by AI directly, being something those systems can read and cite matters more. It's part of our SEO service, not a separate bolt-on. The SEO page covers it properly.

Is "email marketing" the same as setting up my business email?

No, and it's a common mix-up. Email Marketing Setup, a Grow service, is about campaigns and newsletters sent to a list of customers. Setting up your day-to-day business inbox, the address you send and receive normal email on, is Email Hosting, over in the Host pillar. Plenty of businesses want both, and we can help with both. If you're after a professional email address for your domain, you want Email Hosting; if you want to send newsletters and offers, you want Email Marketing Setup.

What are Grow services, exactly?

Grow is the pillar of our work that helps a website perform once it's live. It covers content creation, SEO, email marketing setup, analytics and reporting, conversion optimisation, and AI chatbots. Design, Build, and Host get a site made, launched, and looked after; Grow is the work that helps it actually bring in enquiries, customers, and sales.

How does a Grow project start?

With a strategy call. It's free, takes around half an hour, and commits you to nothing. We'll talk about your site, what's working and what isn't, and what would genuinely help. If we're a good fit, we'll follow up with an honest steer and a clear quote. If a different service, or no service yet, is the honest answer, we'll tell you that instead.

Want to talk about growing your site?

The first conversation is a strategy call: free, no commitment, usually half an hour on the phone or a video call. We'll talk about your site, what's working, what isn't, and what would move the numbers. If something fits, we'll say which; if nothing does, we'll say that.
